Is my life worth reading about?

April 2, 2009

OK so i really dont blog as much as i should, its just one of those things where sometimes i really dont feel my life is that intresting, and who would possibly want to read about it and my thoughts?

Then again sometimes my life is so hectic its unreal! But i also try to keep my private life and my ‘DJ’ life very seperate.

So the big thing for me recently was the fact that i had a week off! Yes even the Grind has to have a break sometimes! haha. Seriously, i worked myself so hard not that long ago that i made myself ill for nearly a week. A lot of people advised me that i was over doing it and told me to chill for a bit, so thats what i did! I went to Spain and chilled out for a week. This however is the part that i like to keep personal! I had a great time a lot happened, but thats not for public consumption! Haha.

However before i left, i had an awsome night down in Bournemouth DJing alongside Tinie Tempah, as well as Decyfa & Tempa. Room six was the venue, my first time djing there, i wasnt to sure what to make of it at first as it seemed to be more of a bar. But as soon as the place filled up the crowd soon mate it a crazy night! It so funny how crowds change from town to town and venue to venue, But with the right mix of banging hip hop and some rnb/party for ladies you know i got the crowd jumpin! Tinie came on after me and was heavy! He dropped all the big hits and had the crowd rocking and singing along to all the big ones! If you dont know who Tinie is, get to know! Check the video

So anyway! Im back now, and back on my Grind! Only been back 4 days and its been crazy. I interviewed Grammy nominated Jazmine Sullivan, So you can catch that on this weeks RnG Show (3/4/09 www.expressfm.com 1900 – 2100 GMT) Also UK Funky sensation Donae’o, and that interview will be on the following week.

Got a couple of shows coming up soon, One this Saturday, an Under 18 event at Portsmouth Uni, and the the following Wed at Liquid Portsmouth, again a 16 – 21 event. Not that im complaining but is it just me or are under 18/college nights becoming huge business? Its the kids that know, make and support the music, so that should be our audience i guess!

Right that’ll do for now! Im all blogged out! haha

Oh BTW if any one wants to ‘Pimp my profile’ hit me up!
